Speaking of doing brake calipers, I've been thinking of painting mine also. I remember seeing there were chrome clips that could be purchased but are those now hard or impossible to find? They would be a nice touch to the finished product! :)
 
Think you have two choices - silver or black. Red and Yellow would not suit. Like the sound of the chrome clips - would stand out more with black calipers.
 
Yeah red and yellow are for serious brakes like Brembo etc and if the factory meant them that way on the car,plus to look right they need to be tight up to the inside of the wheel IMO
I would go for black, Still understated yet diffrent
 
Oh !!! and they won t show the brake dust,leave the red calipers to the Saxo/106 boys
 
I actually like the look of red on Zeds that have the red interior, considering it for mine but wouldn't on the OP's Sterling with black interior.

Looking forward to the write-up and results shots :D

X2 Matching Red seats with Silver car and red calipers looks good!
 
Anyone know if you can get BMW label/logo transfers put on them - this would finish the look off nicely !

Incidentally I was put off by a motor with red calipers when I was looking to buy... much prefer the understated black or silver - too boy racer otherwise!
