...err, I mean Zara Philips gives birth to 16th in line to the throne, sorry for the confusion there! Much as I am happy with the status quo and a great admirer of the Queen, is this really news? Best of luck to mum and sproglet but headline news it 'aint.

(obviously I make no connection between giving birth and passing wind.....not that I've ever given birth!)

But will the taxpayer have to contribute to its life? Or do the minor Royals now pay their own way?
