Does your top HiFi system supports Ipod interface?

My Z4c had been two days at the dealer for the installation of the OEM iPod interface and now they told me that since the car has the top HiFi system no Nav it doesn't accepts the Ipod? Is that true? Does some one has the Ipod working. The part they are working with is the correct one for my car, I checked At Realoem.com.
Help!!
 
The OEM one doesnt support nav or DSP as I recall. DICE and Intravee make one that do. I've read that the Intravee on is the better.

Intravee is very good if you have nav, dension also do the gateway which if like the icelink plus should be good
 
My Intravee works wonderful on my top hifi. Only bummer was disconnecting the 6 CD changer, but I actually never seem to use CD's anymore anyway. Only gripe is the 511 items limit on the Alpine adaptor, which has trouble coping with my music collection. But I honestly feel I have too much music anyway :).
