Does your car have a name?

Naming a car is a bit like a private reg in that it screams pretentious w***er but each to their own if it makes you happy.

Couple of threads about this already:

Completely disagree but each to their own opinions!

Naming a car is a bit of fun. Not like I refer to my z4 by its name when I walk up to it...It gives people a bit of a chuckle and nothing more!

Regarding personal registrations, I don't believe it screams pretentious w****r at all...I never used to be a big fan of them previously but to be honest after getting one as a gift, I love mine. If anything, it makes the car look newer than what it actually is. A common question I get asked is "how old is your car?" with most people guessing newer than when it left the factory. Is that a bad thing?....I think not.

Mines a sacha. Reg is RO03RYE so nearly spells Rory. So many people say it looks new for an 03 which does wind me up to be honest but it was bought as a gift.

As I said, each to their own if it makes you happy.

RedZed - it's a he, name and gender inherited from previous owner JaRed. He gets called Red quite a lot, as in "can we go for a ride in Red dad?"

Christ you're a laugh a minute aren't you ? It called having a bit of a laugh .. really quite enjoyable and far more fun than being a miserable f**ker

I guess it should be Leo but I always referred to it as "The Z4" (except in private  )

I should point out the plate came with the car & for some obscure reason can't be sold separately.
