Does this smell dodgy?

Hey all,

So I'm a noob, (apologies in advance).

I was looking at this car

Which seems pretty good. BMW service history etc, so it looks like the guy loos after the car. But when I run the number plate through and insurance site, it says its for a volvo. So huh? Maybe he's transferred the number and not updated the paperwork, but then, to me, that raises a question as to how diligent he's really been with the rest of the car. Or even worse, maybe the real number plate would reveal something more serious like a category write off so he doesn't want to update it?

Any thoughts?
 
Maybe he's bought the Volvo (for the baby he mentions he's just had) and has transferred the plate into that car and not swapped plates off the zed yet? I'd ask him...
 
Sounds like a plate transfer yeah ^

Ask for the reg and vin number or if your close go look at it and take the vin yourself I did that before I bought mine.
 
Front spoiler & rear bumper have been changed at some point 8) previous forum member maybe ?
Price seem,s ok for year,mileage & spec
Nice colour & wheel,s
Drive it away around £4500 & happy days :thumbsup:
