Does this happen your exhaust?

I’ve been meaning to post these pictures for a while. Last summer I had a PowerFlow exhaust with Akrapovic tips fitted When I’ve been out for a blast the exhaust must expand quite a lot cos there is a noticeable difference between hot & cold as these pictures show.

On previous cars I have owned where I fitted Miltek exhaust systems this was quite noticeable with a considerable expansion seen.

First thing motor is an open framework that implies volume of motor is fixed and inflow and out stream are equivalent in mass. On the off chance that you spread fumes , disregard covering on the off chance that you simply decrease the fumes dia it will influence motor execution.
not sure what your trying to say there?

I think the covid's gone to your head mate. Stop sniffing the 5G fumes.

Had a powerflow exhaust pipe on my previous car and it would seem to get louder on long runs I put this down to expansion of the pipe but I am no mechanic so could be wrong maybe I was just sick of the drone after a long drive :D

Know what you mean about the drone around 2000 RPM. MY Zed only get used in the summer, so most of the time the roofs down & I try not to let the revs get under 3000 RPM. My plans are to make it into a rack day car when business picks up & I can afford to carry out the rest of work needed such as LSD, clutch, ARB, bushes, seats, weight reduction. It goes on & on ha. Too much time on my hands web surfing for parts I can’t afford at the minute 😩
