Does my Z4 have bluetooth ?

Daft question, maybe... But,

How do I know if my Z4 has bluetooth ?
I've looked through a few threads but can't find the answer I need.
I have SatNav, but can't see phone anywhere in any of the options anywhere.
I do have a phone symbol on one of the buttons on the CD/Radio front...

Cheers.

I've had a look around that link but to be honest, I'm hopeless with electronics.
I see that it implies that there are stickers somewhere saying that the car is Bluetooth Prewired, but it doesn't say where these stickers are.
Like I said there is a button on the radio fascia with a phone icon on it, but it does nothing when I press it, so I assume there is no bluetooth.
I think I'm right in saying that when I press the "menu" button, then along with the options on the nav screen for Computer / Nav / MonitorOff / Set..... there shuold also be a "telephone" option.
There isn't, so again, this seems to imply that there is no bluetooth ?

Thanks for your assistance

do you have a lump in the vertical part of the boot ?

I believe you will also need the MFSW to operate...

Do you have an eject box in the drop down arm from rear bulkhead if not I doubt you have bluetooth

I can only see the shaped area around the rear springs. I don't have the MFSW either....

Mate, as you quite rightly say, if there is no Telephone option on the Nav screen, you just don`t have it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, as the phone icon on the button is just standard fare, and DOES work the phone (MFSW not needed) if you have bluetooth. I know this because mine does have it.

I know how you feel, as I was gutted to find mine did not have the aux socket for iPod connection.

Maybe a retro-fit is in order for you ?

Pre wired BT only applies to cars in the USA. If oyu have factory BT you will have a cradle in the flap between the two seats where the DVD player is for the SatNav, if it's been retrofitted there sohuld be a pairing button there at least.

Install a parrot system - much cheaper and easier then the OEM bluetooth. (and I am the type of person who would usually always prefer the OEM solution)

Plus you get better functions (easy to scroll address book, easy to fit, will work with any phone, and depending on model can include aux/ipod connection)
