Does everybody else have this problem? (Passengers + Seats)

Hi guys,

Is it just me or do passengers in the zed seem to be incapable of getting out of it without sitting on the thigh seat bolster with all of their weight first? The problem seems to be exacerbated by short people (like my mum).
To be fair it hasnt done any damage yet but it makes me wince!

I have the sport seats and my drivers side has a damaged side bolster from the first owner (slightly crushed) which I need to get repaired, but my passenger seat's in perfect nick and I'd like to keep it that way!

Has anybody ever had just the foam repaired on a car seat? My drivers side seat had a scuff on it but the liquid leather repair kit fixed that perfectly.

Cheers.

Ive noticed people doing the same. Either putting all their weight through their backside on to the seat side bolster or pushing down on the side bolster to lever themselves out of the car..

Each person who's done it has only every done it once though... if you get where im coming from

I can't really complain at them - my seats pop me out the car as I shift my weight to get out because of my big (muscular, obviously) thighs and a$$ :P

Reverse in a$$ first, and a discrete but assertive lung to get out

Of course I don't wear a skirt. Often.

The problem tends to come from people who treat the zed (or any other car for that matter) as an appliance!
On a slightly similar but different note; my brother is, how shall I put it......; too short for his weight and had the most terrible time in my old elise. He couldnt swing his legs over the high sill so literally had to roll out of the car onto the road to escape the clutches of the cabin. He only rode in it once! To this day it makes me laugh thinking about it.

You all need to get some rules put into place! If people can't treat your car with respect make them walk!
Call me miserable but I have a very short list of who is actually allowed into my car now, most people are banned due to lack of courtesy!

to avoid this...I have put my seat in the furthest back position and raised it as high as it will go.

Im what pistonheads describe as powerfully built so squash bolsters are something that I have to deal with.

I did once get stuck in a mates Evo 6 with rally spec buckets, I mean properly wedged in. Was very comfortable but not easy to get out of!
