Does anyone on here know this car YF 56 LRO?

It means they've gone through the BMW Thorne Distribution centre in Doncaster to be regged I think.

Y is a Yorkshire prefix, Thorne is in Doncaster

Thorne is the location of the BMW Group Vehicle Distribution Centre near Doncaster. All BMW vehicles imported through BMW (UK) Ltd are sent to Thorne for checking and preparation before they are distributed to the dealer network. The Vehicle Distribution Centre employs 500 associates.

We all do appear to be moving in a different direction from the initial question, does anyone actually know the car? :tumbleweed:

Apologies for dragging a thread from the depths of the forum, but I found this after a google search.

I now own YF56 LRO! Glewpot, are you the previous owner? Would be good to find out a bit more history for the car.

Cheers

Mine is YF and the BMW dealers said it was a BMW registered car that was shown at 3 seperate dealers as the coupe was in short supply at the beginning of its production run,so they had to "share" the car.

Dont know how true this is BTW..
