Does anyone live in Cumbria...

...the reason I ask is there is a possibility I may be able to go and work there for almost 2 years on a project, probably staying there 3 nights per week. I presume it's quite a holiday destination due to the Lakes etc, but what is it like all year round? Anyone from Cumbria (or who has been there) care to comment?

I do and its very pretty, some fantastic roads.... Oh and I have a jolly nice house to rent too......The beer's very cheap all the women are petite morally corrupt blondes...and an SLK will set you very much apart......So all in all very good.....P.S. But do,nt tell any one 'cause they'll ruin it for me
