Does anyone know this Zed

Hi everyone, new here so hopefully I've posted in the right place. I've been lurking for a while, reading as much as I can about z4's and have decided it's for me. Weekend fun as I have a work van for day to day stuff...anyways I was wondering if anybody knew this car or anything of it before I make a call. Being a Cat D and also being what seems the normal asking price of a zed at the moment I just thought I'd try and find more info.
Great site and thank you all for the knowledge you all share...Hope the link works!

I cant help with any specific info on the possibility of this being a forum members car but I am sure someone else will come up with this. It is a very good looking car and the price is not bad (no mention of optional extras fitted!), bearing in mind if not already done you may have to budget sooner or later for renewing suspension bushes and shocks back and front, and possibly vanos seals. None of this is beyond the scope of a reasonable home mechanic and there are lots of posts on how to do it on the forum. It appears that the earlier Z4's (E85 and E86) are becoming something of a classic and prices are rising. Good time to buy before the usual summer hike in price for a convertible.

I was having a look at this one.

Despite everything else it has going for it, the fact that it was a cat D did put me off.

ZLZ seems familiar. Is this not a forum car?

Looks a nice example (albeit a Cat D).

I like the arty supermarket snaps! :)

From the quality of the advert. and the info listed I would doubt its a Forum members car.
Description is pretty poor i.m.o., no pictures or description of the internals and as already stated a Cat D will always have a negative influence on the price.
No harm in looking though, the bodywork looks to be in good condition. Good luck with your search.

Thanks for the reply and thanks for the heads up on suspension refresh Midhurstman.
Yes I thought the Asda supermarket snaps really did the advert justice!! I also doubt it's a present forum members car due to the lack of passion and info in the ad but maybe a past members car.
I'll chase them up and see what history they have re the Cat D status before I have a look.

Thanks again...

Yes, that caught my eye too Zikim. I do have a couple of alarm bells ringing but will call them later and see what they have to say.
