Hi all,

Still looking for a new car and this coupe has popped up and meets most of my requirements.

Does anyone know the car?

Has it been in the forum at all?

Any advice on the car in question?

Thanks

Ash

Looks OK value for a dealer car. One of the very last, too. Good options, nicely valeted. Driver’s seat bolster can easily be brought back to near perfect. A bit scrapey around the front end.
You will want to pay attention to the condition of panels/paint and to the service history/work done. Factor in new suspension all round and water pump if it hasn’t been done.
The ad seems to be a bit confused, listing it as a convertible, and in the detail with three soft tops available
I hope it’s the right one for you.

Thanks for the reply

The history is good it’s been serviced properly all it’s life and it’s due an oil service next month which they will sort (I’ll get my specialist to do this again I expect anyway for piece of mind)
Has lots of invoices for bits and bobs but no new shocks or water pump (has had other weak points sorted though)

It hasn’t got xenons but has the other spec options I’d like so I’d look to retrofit a headlight upgrade or some sort.

The previous owner seemed to be an enthusiast and looked after the car and took it to reputable specialists.

Body work is good minus the scuffs at the bottom of the front bumper apparently.

I think I’ll go see it in the flesh for myself but looks promising so far, price is definitely upper end but I’d the car is as I am told it could be worth it.

Same colour combo as my M3 which I am not sure is good or bad :D

There aren't too many around on an 09 plate and there's nothing wrong with Silver Grey and a red interior, especially with Piano Black trim!

Given how rare 09 plates are I was just wondering if it ever lived in Kent? I bought a set of winters for my E46 in November 2015 from a keen forum member in Strood who had an 09 plate Silver Grey Coupe.

Nothing wrong with it at all it’s the exact same colour as my M3 inc the seats and trim :D

Was hoping it maybe a forum members car, nothing yet though so if it was that persons car I expect they are long gone :)

I don’t know the car personally but from what you are saying about the history, and being a later model it appears to be good value from a dealership

On closer inspection the front passenger side bumper doesn't seem to be quite right by the wing / headlight it could be the picture though.

Ill go have a proper look next week when i have some more time.

It's quite common for the plastic clips at the end of the bumper to break.
