Does anyone have Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season RFTs?

Happy New Year to all! I recently bought a 2006 Certified Pre-owned Z4 3.0i with less than 12,000 miles. The tires are the original RFTs and are practically like new. Although I don't intend on driving the Z4 during the Chicago winter months, I would like to get All Season High Performance tires when it is time to replace the current tires. I've read many threads to ditch the run flats, but for me, putting a spare in the trunk is not an option. Has anyone put on Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season RFTs? If so, how do you like them? If not, what other RFTs would you recommend?

IMHO for what it worth the all season tires are a real compromise for winter driving and especially for a 2 wheel drive vehicle. I would suggest either parking the Zed for the winter or going with a good dedicated winter tire and inexpensive rims.

If you do decide to try the Eagle F1 all season tires let us know how they work out....

grdz4roadster, if I was you I wouldn't swap the current RFTs for different RFTs - the only reason people swap them is to get back to normal tyres that's all. If you want to keep the RFTs (and I did on mine) then just stick to the original Bridgestones.

If you don't want to carry a spare but you want normal tyres, you can get the M mobility kit (goo plus compressor) and carry that instead.

My mistake. The Good Year Eagle F1 All Season are not run flats. Can anyone recommend any decent all seasn run flats?
