Does anybody near St Albans have Navcoder?

Tried to prog DLR's as AE's via BMW Scanner but the setting on there activates low beam (which AE's are connected to) along with main beam (but on a lower voltage) as well as having the brake light on.

I downloaded Navcoder and I can see it has a setting to have just sidelights as DLR's but I haven't got the correct cable or an activation code for Navcoder so if anyone local has, I'll be happy to give them them some dosh if they can plug in Navcoder and prog the DLR's for me.

I only know of two people on here with navcoder, and I'm one of them. The other guy lives in the midlands so neither of us are close. Mine is also pretty much hard wired in.

Might be better off getting the interface and software, it's not that expensive.

Thanks for the heads up on that.

Do you know if it only work via iBus connection or will it work with OBD or OBDII cables as don't really want to hard wire it in?

It's not hard wired 100%, easiest way is to connect ot the CD changer. I made up a three way loom so that I could leave mine connected.

I suppose it's not too bad a wiring job as my CD loom is already accessible from behind rear bulkhead carpet from when I it was disconnected to plug into Mediabridge loom as I've had enough of wiring for a while.

Seems Navcoder is the only solution for setting the DRL's how I want to them so I suppose I have no choice but to buy that and compatible iBus cable.

Thanks for the advice mate,

Billy
