does any one know where this goes

the bracket doesn't hold the probe itself, just the cable for the probe runs in it. It runs along side the engine. When I get home if I have a chance I'll take it out and snap a pic for you.
 
It goes on the inlet side of the engine somewhere near the actual plug for the lambda sensors. You don't need to touch it (if your doing a lambda sensor) - if you do you must have been very busy today.....
