Does an engine brace reduce/accentuate tramlining?

Just thinking. Messing around with tyre pressures to mitigate tramlining and was wondering if the engine brace that I have on the car (was on it when I bought it) would have any effect on the front handling because it stiffens up the front of the car. Any views?

Reduced it for me, keeps the tyre geometry truer.

+2 for ditching RFT's to more or less eliminate tramlining (F1 a2's again). I had some different motorway wandering creep in later but new front RTAB 'lollypops', new anti-roll bar bushes and a good four wheel alignment has sorted that as well.

A brace is a nice addition to a sorted set-up but can't help if the tyres are wrong'uns and the suspension is boggy or misaligned like mine was.

Lollypops and wishbones were replace on mine along with getting an alignment done.

No tramlining on the previous Z4 after changing from the Runflats.

Michelin and other tyres will be the same but ditch the runflats and you'll be driving a better car instantly!

Agree that tyres will make the biggest difference, I went from F1ASY2 to same tyre and strut brace and it helped further. Also in the process of sorting bushes. Having changed the lollipops to Powerflex a lot of the understeer has gone. RTABs next week with limiters.
