Does 6 speed fit pfl 2.5

I've not actually seen one fitted up, so could not say for sure, but evidence suggests it would work. They are both M54 engines. The SMG part # to mate to both engines is the same. The SMG and 6 speed manual are both the same GS6S37BZ box. The difference in gearing appears to be only in the diff. You'll need a different prop shaft as well. And of course with this sort of thing, there's likely unforeseen fitment issues that will need to be resolved.
 
I heard gears are the Same, and That the six speed has the sixed as an overdrive, only question woud be of the bold patern is the Same. The norwegian Guy who owned That fantastic 2.2 fitted the M gearbox.

And i won't sell my car for an 3.0 ;).
