Hi I'm new to this forum although I have had my Z4 for over two years. I really wanted to praise the company who repaired my dodgy ECU. The dealership in Norwich could not diagnose the problem - No 1 cylinder not firing at all! I have a mechanic locally who only does Beemers and VW's and he reckoned it must be the ECU as everything else was ok. So if anyone else has a similar problem I can recommend Blue Hawk, based in Nottingham for a speedy efficient service. The unit was spiked by a faulty ignition coil, cost £150 to repair, a lot cheaper than the quote from dealership for a new one. Mines a 04 2.5SE, now looking forward to blowing the cobwebs away again!!
