Do you name your Z4?

JDM used to call his "Brutus" - a fairly memorable name. I just call mine zed

No offence but I think its a bit silly to name cars.

(I once referred to it as 'Zedward' but I quickly had a strong word with myself)

I refer to it as the zed.
 
IKZ4 called his car Mr Zedkins......which I promised to keep since purchasing it from him, although I keep referring to the car as "she" so Mr Zedkins is a bit off.

Affectionately being referred to as Zabine. Zabine Zedkins ofcourse :wink:

+1 it's "the zed" or "my zed" for me, although I must admit I occasionally refer to it as her/she 8)
 
My previous 2 cars (both 5 series) were named Helga & Brigitte as the sat-nav voice seemed to lend itself to the image of a bossy German lady! (Maybe that's just in my mind...)

But so far the Z4 has remained without an extra name!
 
I don't, although my 'friends' have dubbed it the "gay slow mobile" lol

can't call it Zed either, as I have a proper Datsun Zed... so that would get upset.....
 
My wife christened mine Pablo :|

I do not use that name. Or any other. Only 'the Z', though she is a girl on account of having a fantastic ass :D
 
I havent but my girlfriend has named it 'mr smooth' she is also adament it was produced for her as shes called zoe and was born on the 4th of august hence Z4 . .

I thought I understood the way she thought untill she hit me with that little nugget!
 
Serendipity,

All my cars \ bikes were named after S starting girls names :roll:

Sophie - PUG 1.6 GTi
Stephanie - GT Turbo
Sapphire - Suzuki RGV250M
Sloane - Corrado VR6

I bought the car sort of accidentally, as we were just test driving it, as I didn't like the "loud" Interior and it had way too many miles compared to others (48K). Test drive blew me away and I paid way over the odds.

So happy accident was a good name for it :)
