Do you guys wave/flash other Zed's?

I find if the weathers nice and the roofs are down then more acknowledgments happen. :)

Nothing compared to when i owned a Fiat Coupe, that was very much up there with the niche lotus/tvr/original mini level of flashing and waving!

There's about 5 of us in the area always wave to each other. I one day was following the same route and as they made their turn off I was behind and both driver and passenger stuck their arms up and waved as I passed them along so its only proper to wave back  and of course the tops were down. It's just like when we drive the wrangler all part of the "it's a jeep thing". Now to remember who wave to when to not throw anyone off.

Nice to know a few still do wave!

3 years back seeing another smart was still a novelty (despite there being a range of models and over 9 years being sold in the UK)

all of a sudden now more and more people are buying smarts, probably due to being relatively cheap to run, tax etc and the waving has died down. I even had someone flip the bird at me once.

:x

When I had my Z3 everybody waved, when I got my Z4 a few people waved, when I got my E89 nobody waves... :(

At the very least there's an appreciative smile, some times a wave and / or a flash (of headlights), sometimes I've pulled-up next to someone / someone has pulled up next to me for a chat, one guy in an E85 stopped with me (going opposite way) in the middle of a small country lane in West Sussex (near Petworth) and we had a little chat (there was no other traffic and we had to slow to a stop anyway because of the clearance!).

Also get a few thumbs up / double indicator flashes.....

Wow people are real friendly down your way.

I often wave but rarely get a response. There's a guy I guess us called Lister who waves sometimes and I usually get a wave off Guiseley when we pass on an evening :)

So far my experience with the Z is limited as I've only just got it. However, with my Defender, I would say waving is up around the 80% response.

The only other car we had where waving was the norm was an MG Midget many years ago.

Ive not waved or flashed but when one comes past me down the motorway I tend to give chase for a bit 8) ... but then they always seem to go way way too fast so I stop shortly after haha :|

ditto, but i have given in to the forum stickers

Exchanged smiles a few times, only ever waved to the person who lives round the corner - albeit I don't know them but regularly pass them.

I would obviously wave or flash back if someone did!
