Do You Get the Dealer to Check Your Car...

....when you take it into be serviced before you drop it off.

After reading many of the threads here from members who have had their car damaged at BMW dealers I am planning to get my dealer to do a condition check when I drop it off on Tuesday, I just wondered if any of you do the same.

Yes, but only when it HAS to go to a dealer - otherwise it goes to my friend and tame ex-Aston Martin engineer.

think i will from now on after having a wheelscuffed during a tyre replacment-plus when i was a student and worked at various car dealers including BM as a valet i remember how well or not so the cars are treated!

Vines has a standard form for the car check. Obviously, I take the pictures in their car park as well ... (hence the refurb of one of the X5 wheels + a respray of the boot whilst the car was in their care. No arguments once I told them I had the before pictures ...
