Do you acknowledge other Zed drivers on the road?

I used to be acknowledged all the time when I used my Westfield on the road and by all kinds of other drivers. Now it's just a track car it's always trailered on the road, so it gets fewer waves :D
In my S2000 I get waves from other roadsters fairly often, especially with the roof down, but I almost never see any response from other drivers when I'm in my Zed. None of the above applies on London where rule of "stare straight ahead and don't make eye contact ever" seems to be universal.

I must of waved at 7 z4's driving upto Scotland and back. I got 1x wave back...

My Mrs thinks I'm nuts...

Flashed lights and thumbs up at oncoming Z4 Roadster today.....nothing in return :x

Pulled into petrol station alongside Z4 ///M Coupe a few minutes later. Looked over to try catch his attention/give him the thumbs up but he didn't even flinch  He definitely knew I was there though, as he did his best to lose me flooring it down the M40 on-ramp..... no chance of that though! :P Maybe he just doesn't like Alpinas!

I got flashed by a granny in a Z3 today. Quite alarming.

As a grandpop I find that quite exciting

Hehe. Seriously... I was going to wave but she beat me to it with a flash + one arm pumping furiously.

No, I get enough of that nonsense when I'm out on the bike, I feel like a bleedin' nodding dog some days. I don't want to wave to anyone, just leave me alone and let me drive my car and ride my bike in peace. The MX5 people did (still do i guess) this and it got right on my tits.

Fortunately, no other Z4 driver has ever waved to me around here - us northerners are too pragmatic for such frivoity

frivolous southern owner here
I get the odd acknowledement back but that wont stop me from doing it (cars & bikes)
regards

Start waving at mobile home drivers - I guarantee they will wave back (if they see you waving)

Mmmmm, this might explain the lack of responses (I live in Lancashire :( )

Apologies Marlon, I get it from my Dad, he used to get pissed off with AA patrolmen saluting him! He took the damned badge off the car in the end :D

I'll make an exception in your case and wave to you if I see you - but you must put a large sunshade in your screen reading "Marlon" so I'll know it's you.
