excited new owner awaiting arrival so expect loads of questions. here is the latest
i know we have xeons but what about drls?

congrats on your forthcoming arrival. you have to tell us all about it, ie what model, options etc and then post loads of pics when it arrives.

anyhow, i have drls on my 28i but suspect it may be part of the so called comfort pack, along with rain sensors etc. the drls are in fact nothing more than sidelights, not the led style ones such as seen on audis.

These are the daytime running lights,





The DRL's are brighter than the sidelights.

They're quite yellow when compared to the F20 1 Series Xenons which are white.

You can turn them on via the idrive. They are std, not part of comfort pack. However I've no idea how to activate if no idrive.

There are posts on here somewhere about updating with lux white lights. I don't have idrive and they are activated thriough the onboard computer via the button on the end of the indicator stalk........

my 2009 sdrive23i didn't have drl's but my 2012 sdrive28i does.

make what you will of that.
