Do I get an Aero bumper or stick with stock! :-s

I'm just thinking out loud here!

I used to have an Alpina splitter, which looked really nice but was cracked on the first day I had the Z! (Loads of steep hills where I live!). To which its had endless amounts of glue and respray's applied to it by me! It finally cracked again (assuming just due to flex and movement), I got annoyed with it and took it off the other day.

Needless to say my bumper is in a bit of a state now, what with all the old glue on it, and its in need of a proper professional respray.

I have been quoted £180 for a respray of the stock bumper or £140 if a buy a new one already primed.

The question is, do I keep it stock and live with the standard looks or do I go for the Aero bumper (£260 more than if I was to just have the standard one resprayed), and run the risk of me cracking another bumper! I'm swayed to go with my head and keep standard and put the money towards some new alloys as mine are corroded!

Arrgghhh

Anyone with any advice!

If it is pre lci, go for Aero but for lci cars I really like the look of stock bumpers paired with nice wheels.
 
Might have to go with my heart!

I guess I could get a couple of quid for my stock e85 front bumper (even if it does need a respray?!)
 
I have just fitted an Aerodynamic bumper that I bought from MStyle for £450 sprayed and it totally transforms the zed into a more sportier looking car - No regrets!

Did you all fit the Aero bumper yourself and if so was it easy enough? I've seen the guide here and it looks ok to diy?

Unsure whether to get the bumper from bmminiparts.com (£300)and paint for 140 or just order from mstyle already painted and fit myself?

Got some lower side guards on there to prevent future hill mishaps too :thumbsup:

Apparently, having heard other people's experience in mounting their numberplate there, it doesn't. But we will see!

What I meant was, it looks like there are some on there already, unless that's how the aero bumper comes... But I could swear I've never seen them before, and they don't look painted :?
