I do love the M bonnet - when I drove Stuart's it completely changed the view out the front and provided another wee cue about the beast I was driving. It's expensive though - about a grand if memory serves ? Surely things like your BBK and other performance mods, or even aero skirts would rank higher up the list than this ?

The bigger bonnet would be highly necessary for the v12 that will be going in. BBKs are over-rated anyway.

About £800/900 from m style I think, plus paint.

What you doing with your old parts Johnny??I'm considering building a zed with your scrap ;).

The bonnet is a must imo.

The standard bonnet is rather boring.

its one of the things i really like about the Z. a big flat expanse of shiny bonnet.... each to their own.... you really might as well buy an M at this rate jonny. :D

Yhe bonnet before aero skirts imo.

The bonnet really makes the ///M look that bit more aggressive. Would look awesome on your Z JE.

Don't get me wrong, it's not the worst thing ever.

It just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the hard edged panels. It's too smooth and curvy.

i thought i had read the M bonnet catches are different???????

maybe a dream

Indeed.. i think facelift and M have 2 catches... pre have 1.

I actually like the curved non M bonnet, matches the curved boot lid... aero skirts, are certainly more noticeable and better bang for buck.

Jonny just sell that 2.0i and get an ///M. Much better base car to mod if you still want to do that.

And don't tell me "I've owned it from new"

It will only be a matter of time before you get the ///M front bumper, no matter how much yo say you prefer the aero one.

And then an m engine lol. I'd keep an eye out for a written off m then put the engine/drivetrain/suspension in yours. Sell what you don't need to make some money back.

Just my opinion Jonny. But... if you end up creating a total M copy aren't you at risk of ending up with a 2.0l car that's 'All show and no go'? :poke:

Or you could go 2x2 exposed weave genuine CF for under £400 including fitting / bonnet pins... and really stand out.
