Do E89 seats fit?

Hi guys

I've a feeling this is a dumb question, as I've no recollection of seeing any posts of it being done - but can E89 seats fit an E85. And if so, is it straight forward or all a bit of a faff?

cheers

Question 2: Did BMW take the time to design them so as to be comfortable, incorporating features such as lumbar support and lateral support using bolsters? :tumbleweed: The E85's seats are the worst I've ever sat in, and my passengers agree!

It's a bit of a faff but they do fit. They are the best seats imo. I fitted them in my last Z.
ok so what sort of faffing would I have to do? Does it involve surgery of the runners for example?

Edit: do you know if there's anything on the forum about how to?

My E85 has the sports seats fitted and I find them comfortable enough. Never tried the standard seats though.

whats involved in putting e89 into an e85 please ??? faff details required ?? dont leave us hang :poke: ing .....

Holy thread ressurection..
Is it possilble to install electric heated sport seats from e85 to e89? Will the heating and electric adjustment work?

Ah thanks! So it needs some plate fabrication, that's a bit beyond me sadly! I wonder if anyone on here could make a few up and charge accordingly? Can't see any mention of the inflatable bolsters in that thread, I wonder if they'll work?
