Hi all ,i seem to remember reading in the owners manual(before it got packed away prior to decorating) something along the lines of covering the seats in direct sunlight to avoid bleaching,-now that the weathers on the up is this required?-im going to treat them with gliptone at the weekend-does this product prevent bleaching?-thanks

In 5 years, with the roof down at every opportunity, no issues with mine. Regular cleaning and protection and you should be fine

As far as I am aware worn bolsters are the only real issue.

I live Tucson Arizona and the desert sun can get really harsh. My Z4 is typically garaged, but not all the time. In the last five years I have not noticed a bleaching issue. So, I think you are probably ok. Z4 Pilot

Also, I did have my windows professionally tinted. It helps block UV rays which keeps the interior cooler and protected. 8) I also think it enhances the cars looks. Z4 Pilot

How hot are your summers in Arizona mate?

Summers run from about May to October and 105+ degrees fahrenheit or 41C is not uncommon. The rest of the year is nice weather. So, if you can make it through the summer, the rest of the year is "top down." Z4 Pilot
