Do all Z4 Electric Memory seats have heating?

Ditto. Not that I need them, had them in my old car and never used them aside from the 'honeymoon period'.

Would not want to be without heaters in the cold winter months with top down

Trust me, when it gets below 10C you will want them if you have the roof down on a bright day 8)

Thanks everyone - wow they were quick replies, your good on here - thanks.

I'll look into swapping the heating or but the OEM heating kit before they are recoverd.

Heated seats are a must in the UK.

Thanks again.

There is a retrofit kit listed on realoem.com here but it's not for M sport seats, only the standard seats. I'm sure it could be done though, see cj10jeeper as he has rebuilt some seats previously.

Does anyone know if you can retro fit heaters to the seat?
Yes - but a lot of work. I think you'd need to strip off the seat covers. to get the pads in. You'd also need to fit the correct wiring and switches into the dash (near the ashtray) and ensure the harness to each seat has the leads in place.

Heated seats was a major requirement when I bought my Z4. I had a choice of a Z4 with sports package or winter package and living in Chicago I went with the winter package.
No regrets I love my bun warmer.....

Ah, tuschi toasters! I don't use them often down here in the SE, but on those mornings when we're below freezing (yeah, yeah, we do have a couple of them), it's sure nice. Don't leave them on long, but that leather can be cold when you first get in.

Sounds reasonable to me in Chicago, but as for more temperate climes, come on chaps, haven't we gone a bit soft? We've got global warming now so a UK winter is when you wear thicker t shirts :P

I think I'm part Geordie, I must speak to my mother...... :)
