Ditching the run flats

Have decided to make the leap, I've had my Z for 12 months and having read all the reports of improved handling and ride have ordered a full set of Vredersteins.
Will report back on the improvements

Great idea - I had all 4 replaced with Vreds today.

It's like driving a Bentley versus a gokart! Handling feels different & will take getting used to, but much more of a driver-feel.

Tread looks good too!

If you don't mind...where did you order from and what sort of price? Roughly... I assume more expensive than Falken 452s?

Well a bit of a 'hotch potch' if I'm honest.

Rears from Tyre Guys at £120 each plus £40 fitting at garage, then fronts at £300 fitted for 2 supplied by garage. £580 all in - I could have done it cheaper but had to do it this way (long story & will bore you..!)

Shall put my 2 Bridgestone rft's onto ebay at wkend & might make £100 or so.

Blimey that seems a pretty decent price! I was gonna wait till my RTFs were out of tread, didn't occur to me to ebay them...now there's a thought, especially as the alloys could with a refurb as well...//reaches for credit card (again)

Tell me about it - all adds up!

Rft's tend to fetch a good price on eBay, there seems to still be many BM drivers that have Bridgestone's as their tyre of choice.

Exhaust, service, tyres, brakes, tax for me this month - but life's too short not to run a Z4..!

Camskill was the best price at £90 for each front and £110 for each rear. However my local tyre place wanted £20 each to fit
So I got them to fit and supply for £450
