Ditching the RF's for MPS4's

With the Z4's mot due early next month and the two rear tyres pretty much illegal, and the fronts not faring much better I thought it time to ditch the run flats and go with Michelin pilot sport 4's.
The two rears have worn quite badly on the inner shoulder compared to the rest of the tyre tread. Due to this wear the car will need an alignment doing!
Can anyone recommend what type of wheel alignment I should have?

I feel that I have negotiated a good deal on the tyres standard 225/40 18, and 255/35 18 Mps4's at £490 all in fitted, balenced, etc.

How does this price compare to what others have paid?
 
I paid for identical £475.20 Inc Vat from Black circle but it was June last year.So sounds like you did good.
 
So, I had the MPS4's fitted today and was very skeptical as to what the outcome would be.

No tyre pressure warning lights, and first impressions whilst driving home in busy traffic is all good, apart from maybe slightly noisier than the RF, and it feels a softer ride!
Took it for a drive down an A road where it used to tram line like crazy......not any more, the difference is like night and day. :thumbsup:
I'm very pleased apart from one thing, I have a broken spring on the rear :headbang:
I shall be ordering a pair of Suplex springs and hopefully will fit myself before the MOT :D

Perhaps the inner tread wear on the rear tyres was due to the broken spring??? would it still be advisable to have a four wheel alignment done, and If so what type of alignment is recommended?
 
I've got a set of Pilot sport 4s turning up on Tuesday - I'm going from 16in runflats to 18in non run flats. Having driven my other half's dad's zed on 18in non run flats I was converted :D
 
And broken springs do all sorts of funny things to your geometry - I didn't have an alignment after mine was replaced but it won't do any harm....

Rear spring may throw alignment out slightly, but the excessive inner wear is relatively standard amoung all Zeds due to the "aggressive" rear camber.
