Yes, I know EVERYONE has posted this up before, but I'm also going to report on my findings once they're replaced... Got what I think is a good price of £412 from Event Tyres. If I'd not hesitated and ordered just a WEEK ago, it'd have been £402! Oh well...

Now just to sell my front RFTs...

Lets hope so! I'm hoping it's as 'night and day' as people have been saying...

For sure , they are a softer ride/tyre without the RFT element so when you get your toe in through the bends it sticks better as it's not bumping & skipping over every bit of gravel ! Much more planted ! :driving:

Just recently put the 452's on mine all round , and noticed a difference straight away a softer ride and no tramlining

I ditched the runflats on my E60 before i traded it in, the difference was night and day like everyone says. The E60 was very smooth to drive after that, just remember to carry a foam can or a jack and space saver.

I bought myself as a backup for in the boot a can of Holts tyreweld(£6.50 from Tesco's) as mentioned and also compressor off ebay and fits nicely in the space behind the battery.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320445587485

Hi, for what its worth, i'v just replaced my Bridgestone fun flats with Michilin ps2 runflats and what a fantastic improvement its made imo, its feels as good as normal tyres ( allowing for sports car suspension) it really is like driving a different car, i paid £395 for front 225/40/18, from mytyres.com, the rears 255/35/18 great deal from kwik fit (yeh i know) £405 fitted, very very happy....

If you have to use the Holts tyreweld "jollop" is the tyre still repairable or knackered?

The tyre is repairable, but that also depends where the puncture is on the tyre.
