Disregard - just me sounding off!

Enuff,

Shame you have beaten your self up over this. We know the score.

Shame you don't do E89's

Never tried one tbh. Bit more electrickery to confuse me, but I'm sure the basic mechanics underneath are much the same.
Once they get cheap enough I may pick one up to learn on.

Martin, never let this type of stuff worry you, for me if I was buying any car I would check the tyres, if they were bald and it worries me I wouldn't take the car.

Rad can go at any point - just keeping help everyone and doing up the old cars to sell on.

Roof - how often people come on here with roof has an issue, must be 4 or 5 a month now the weathers better, it happens and it no ones fault cars are 20 years old now.

Its has already been said, people buy £3k bangers and expect the thing to be perfect for the next 6 years, that is not realistic and people that expect that are crazy.

I would buy off you any time (when your doing e89).

I am sure you don't sell cars with know faults but always try to document what may need doing so there is proof of what you know before it goes so no one can comeback with this happened, that happened.

Many thanks. Think I was just having a down day.

It seems the roof was a one off as now appears to be working ok?
Had replacement parts and fitted in the boot, so my initial thought was maybe a connector knocked off.

See your not all that bad then - crack on with the next one

Morning Martin,

Just seen this forum post doing some random googling.

Please understand, that in no way at all do I mean to have come across like I’m 'trying it on' or dissatisfied. I had a few things crop up, its a 20 year old car (2 of which have been of my fault having installed my own modifications, i.e, airbag clip...). I've only ever come to you in interest of your vastly superior knowledge and (apparent) keenness to help. Any forum posts I've made have either been for myself or a friend of mine who's another Z owner. If I've posted here and asked you simultaneously, it's merely an 'I need to get all the opinions to form a critical opinion' ideology.

I couldn't be happier with KZH. I'm really sorry that i've given you this impression.

For the record and i'd like to stress, i've contacted you to ask questions, again to pick your brains as you know much more than me, but i've never expressed regret for my purchase as you well know. I have no angst towards you or the car. I'm truly a happy customer and you went above and beyond in being a helping hand. Seriously guys, the rad went randomly and i didn't really know what to do, he sent me a link, reimbursed me as it was so soon after purchase, and even offered to help guide me through the replacement!
1. Nobody could have seen that coming & 2. No other private sale would have been nearly as accommodating I am sure, i'd have been told some rubbish like 'sold as seen' and sent on my way.
THIS SPEAKS HUGELY to your character, and to my knowledge... I've never not been appreciative of that?

I've from time to time messaged you things like the MOT certificate or the a photo of the odometer (Now on 118k) as I thought it would come across as an expression of my satisfaction and be of some interest to you.

For the record, no idea where bald tyres came from that’s not something I’ve ever brought up? I might not be knowledgeable on complex issues but I can figure out tyre tread, what they came with was way more than sufficient.

Long story short, I'm happy, the car is amazing, sorry to have given you the wrong impression. Don't give up your hobby on what i'd hope is only poor communication perhaps on my part, I sincerely apologise you feel this way about our sale and always recommend you on here as a source of knowledge or to purchase from.

Steve

Under the bridge long ago.
I had a lot on my mind and should have slept on it.
Glad you’re still enjoying the car.
