Disonnecting parking sensors.

Mine are fubared - they all click, but I still get the permanent tone, which suggests it's a wiring issue.

I've bought an m bumoer without the holes and before I get into drilling holes into it, given I'm not bothered about the sensors, I wonder if I can just disconnect them and leave them tucked up inside the new bumper? Will this stop the beeping in reverse or is that something that will have to be coded?

I suspect there will be a control box/module somewhere in the boot area .
i would disconnect the wires from there ,im no expert but logic would suggest that ,well my logic anyway

Take out the driver's footwell trim, think it's only 2 screws, then it is staring you in the face. You can either unplug the leads from the back or take it out completely.
