Hi all - I couldn't see this in a forum search, but on the web I found a site called maindealerdiscount .com , and got a main dealer inspection 2 for £290 inc VAT - saved around £90.

I called the dealer directly to see if they could honour the price directly but I had to book via the site.

Anyone used this before?

I missed this before I posted my latest post, it looks a great site and the prices look gr8. Gonna ask if my local dealer will match or use one in the list when I am winking in the north west

Thanks

Interesting site. I'll be due an M Inspection II this summer, and there are a few dealers offering it for about £250, down from £400. The most expensive is £385, down from £551.
However,I know that the normal dealer price for that is nearer £900 and so I'd expect these prices won't be honoured. It did pick up the correct car.

if they did honour these prices, then it would be worth the trek as the nearest is over 100 miles from me. That's if they don't skimp on the work.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you James. 100 miles to the nearest dealer but £250 for an insp II on an M. No way that can be right.

I can guarantee its all genuine - my advice is to use the site to find your nearest participating dealership & give them a bell directly to confirm the offer / knowledge of site etc. I hadn't heard of them before last week so guess its quite new. Good idea tho

As usual it has no idea what #69 is, and nothing near work or home for my Ford

Guessing it's some kind of startup?

I think they're just taking it as a 6-cylinder Z4, and not adding the ///M tax, especially when it claims the 'full price' is less than £400 for an Insp 2.

Just to add that had my coupe serviced using this website recently.

Around £250 for a inspection I + brake fluid change, at rybrook warwick.

Everything went well, definitely recommend it.

That is cheap.

I dont need a service for another year or 11k miles, but an oil service and brake fluid change at knights staffs which is only 32miles away is £165... Sure the dealer quoted me over £200 for that the first time i did it.

Humm - just seen this and it is indeed very cheap!
Going to see if Sunngdale will match these prices!
