DISA

Just the flap kit or the whole thing ?

Got my flap kit off ebay can't remember which one but got it on a best offer about a tenner cheaper than buy it now, fits. And works fine.

Well mine is in fairly good nick. I have heard that there are all metal kits??

Just after any advice on whats best. Not worried about a tenner hear or there. Just dont want it braking and damaging anything. The way my luck and this car go... Its just around the corner....

Got one you can have, if I'd known could have dropped off as passing in a bit, will be passing again Monday but will be early, will find link to kit

I got mine from ebay.. full metal replacement.

That's the one I got Matt

As I said works fine, although there are all metal ones available, but if you are being offered a i6 one for beer tokens it's a no brainer.

What are the symptoms of a failing disa?
You can hear it rattle if you stick your ear close,
Also excessive play in the rod after inspection,
Its an easy diy job to replace, even I managed it on my old e46 330ci,and my tool box consisted of three tools
1 hammer
2 screwdriver
3 Bigger hammer

Replaced my DISA flap with the i6 automotive kit. Decent bit of kit. Done the job. The i6 flap is powdercoated metal, so shouldn't get damaged. My original plastic one had lots of damage on.

Got the bits of Mark so when i get chance i will change it.

I have no symptoms in fact i have had a look at mine and all is well. Its more preventative maintenance. Just trying to keep her tip top.
