DISA upgrade issue

Hi all I recently bought the upgrade kit from i6 for my disa all went well fitting apart from when it came to the flap and the screw if I tighten the screw all the way in the flap won't move does anyone know why this has happened because everywhere I read says to tighten it fully.

Are you 100% you have the correct screw? its possibly meant to have a plain shank so that tightening doesn't compress the pivoting part?

Hi rob I fitted the one that came in the kit it has thread only at the end of the bolt so I assume it has enough to pivot there is a washer that I put on that they recommend that I may remove to see if it makes a difference
