Having had a bout of rough idle since coming back from the Ring... I have replaced the ccv... pig if a job.. but you tube was my friend... next on my list was the disa valve...
Should have checked it three months ago when I got the car... look at the pic.... it's fubarred... and to think I have just done 1000 miles to Germany and back on that.. car has 87k on it and that valve is toast...
Ordered a whole new valve.. fitted it.. back to sweet 6 cylinder music on idle... will probably take out the new valve and fit the alloy upgrade kit in the near future.... wondering now how much better it would have gone on my road trip....
Only one way to find out.... better book that tunnel again
