Well its Friday and its been a long week and I fancied something tasty, so I indulged in an Indian takeaway tonight, chicken samber with pilau rice, onion bahjis and plain naan if anyone is interested, sorry no pics as i was too hungry :D i've not had an indian takeaway for aaages as i try to eat healthy for the majority of the time but my god its great to have something like that once in a while!

Now as good as it was my fav takeaway food is a pizza, no fancy "gourmet thin and crispy as close to italy as possible" type ones either lol just your standard 9" from the shop in the village

So whats yours?

After a night out with the lads on a Saturday it has to be Doner meat with chips covered in Chilly sauce you can't beat it

You are all mad!!!!!!!!!!! How can anyone not have chosen fish and chips? It is the food of the gods. Actually we have good chippies and bad curry houses here in the peak, I used to eat a lot more curry when I lived in Bradford. So if the question was rephrased as which takeaway food can come closest to perfection? It is still F&Chips.

Indian fav is a Lamb Tikka Garlic Chilli. The heat of a madras with proper Indian flavor.

After a boozy night out it has to be a lamb shish kebab.... naughty, but I like it :D

Personally I'll eat all of them, but my fav is sweat & sour chicken and special fried rice. There are a few take aways in my town and some weeks I have to rotate around them so they dont think I have take away all the time...(which sometimes I do!).

Needless to say, I'm nearly 21stone!

Close call between Chinese from the local or Fresh of the boat fish and chips, well worth the 30 mile drive, on a summers evening. But the local chinese wins, in the winter months.

Benny88, best dish on the menu :D

Madras has limited flavour, vindaloo has less flavour but more heat. Tikka Garlic Chilli is perfect for those who like it hot

I just had some homemade curry and a half bottle of rum lol, off work for a week

Going to see Kevin bridges of Sunday night at secc and staying at crowne place Glasgow which do the best biggest buffet breakfast

So Monday morning my breakfast will consist off about 20 rashers of bacon along with the usual trimmings

Still fancy having a donner calzone from local chippy

I like a curry. I normally freestyle it when I go Indian as I can never remember the name of my favourite. It's just as we'll I pretty much like it all.

Chinese is a close second. I always get crispy shredded beef in chilli sauce.

I only have takeaways a couple of times a year though.

Chinky for me, chicken in black bean sauce with peppers, and special fried rice.Am home alone this weekend as Mrs bigshurv has gone for a spa weekend with her mate, so I can eat whatever crap I like tonight.AND watch wall to wall motorsport on telly.FAB. :D

In the Indian now ordering take away with half a Carlsberg whilst waiting. Funny how the little things make life worth living!

I've always had complimentary beer offered at Indian's when ordering takeaway;must be a southern thing.
