Direct Line Insurance - W@nkers

Thanks to all for your help and comments.

Adrian Flux got me a specialist who will insure me on a limited mileage policy, all mods covered, for a little less than what I was paying with Direct Line! Really relieved, dont have to sell the car now! :yeah:

Mate I hate directline, I horse sat on my car and i lost £875 plus excess and a year later they said its not worth pursuing

You must be a mind reader a11y :thumbsup: . They lost THAT call. Had a lengthy discussion with their complaints team today. I will get my notes out and tell them when the call was, who I spoke to, etc etc etc. I'm not being beaten on this.... I smell compensation for distress and inconvenience. B@stards :x

i suppose the good news is you got it sorted, but then the bad news is you won't be selling up so the forum is stuck with you :)

on a serious note now hehe, this amazes me, it seems such a simple request, leave your car at another address, doesn't sound complicated at all - i hate insurance with a passion

how many miles is limited mileage?

the reason i have never done this is cos it means i could not go on a trip to europe - or does it?
