Dip Stick... Or Should I Say No Dip Stick

Considering the Coupe does not have a dip stick to check the oil level... is there any other way to check it... or do we just have to wait until the dash lights up...

The oil sensor on my previous roadster had failed twice so it worries a me a little of the consequences if the same happened to my Coupe...

which is fantastic if you trust your sensor
 
Would've liked to have had the option to do a manual check as well as a electronic one just for the piece of mind.

even if the car can let you know the sensor is defective its not a visible check, maybe we are just old fashioned
 
My coupe has a dipstick , must come down to whether it has a proper engine or an iddy biddy one. Having said that, roadsters probably have a dipshit if not two ;)

The funniest part was two others, plus me, who are all car guys, couldnt figure it out. It took my wife to read the manual to confirm who the dipstick was.

If you have a coupe.......you sit in the drivers seat, look up at the mirror you can see it clearly! :rofl:
 
I also fell for this trap.. spent ages looking all over the place.. before i resorted to reading the manual.

I just tried this and when i looked in the mirror all i could see was 2.2 roadster lurking behind in the distance... :poke:
