Dinan Stage 3 Suspension System - FIN

After 32 days of manufacturing delays, backorders, and numerous calls to Dinan Engineering, my Stage 3 Suspension Kit finally arrived. :D

Overall, every piece of suspension part, both Dinan & Koni, are of excellent build quality, and personally I like the way that Dinan has setup the entire suspension...

As of now I am scheduled with my Authorized Service Center, Dose BMW in El Cajon, California for the complete installation next Wednesday & Thursday.

Here are some pictures of my goodies, and in one of the pictures there is obviously a non-Dinan part. Since Dinan did not manufacture Rear Control Arms for our Z’s, I decided to go with the Turner Motorsport Rear Control Arms. These are also excellent suspension parts, and the color also matches my Dinan springs and sway bars.

Once everything is installed I am going take my Z for a nice spirited drive… :driving:

The S2K belongs to my son, whom is currently at the ACE in Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri...
 
Lots of very nice shiney parts. Ive got Koni adjustables on my mk1 mr2 and there awesome, i hope your roads are smoother then ours.

Whoa! That's about 4 that I know of from SD!! There's go to be more out there & I do surely hope that more of us locals will join this forum. You got to go to Breakfast @ Balboa every third Sunday of each month...I will keep everyone posted for when the suspension install is completed.....So what part of SD you from?

Sounds good, the Z4 is the GFs (I'm far too fat for a Z4 :rofl: ) but if we have time to go to the breakfast thing we certainly will -- we are up in Mira Mesa/Rancho Pen area.

Well, in just about 30 minutes I'll be taking my Z to the shop for the Stage 3 Suspension install...Should be done tomorrow afternoon... :thumbsup:

What date is the next one? I may not make it with the Z since the GF scampers off with the keys early in the morning, but I will try to make it :)

According to the San Diego Automotive Museum website, the next Breakfast @ Balboa is on April 26, from 7-9 a.m....

Thanks!!!....Got a message this morning that the installation will be completed today... So... I'll be picking up my "Z" sometime this afternoon... :thumbsup: .....The Shop Manager volunteered to take all the pics for me, so we will see how they turned out...
 
The installation of my new suspension system is complete, the car is home! :thumbsup: I will try to post a writeup with some pics tonight or tomorrow...
