Dim Headlights 2007 Z4 Coupe

In the dim  and distant past, it was know for people to fit 100w bulbs [who? me? would I?] - is this still an option?

Wouldn't this put additional stress on the ballast (unless you're planning on running a 100w ballast as well) and wouldn't the extra heat melt something?

Hence my query. "In the dim  and distant past" there was no such thing as 'ballast' just the wiring, and that never melted! [and you could always uprate the fuses  ]

I have adjusted the height of the headlights today and also fitted some H7 Osram Nightbreakers. I'm very happy with the improvement and must admit that it has been one of the best £20 I've spent on my zed so far.

that looks like the way to go then. How easy is it to [and how do you] adjust the beam? Ta. :?

Also have the H7 Osram Nightbreakers for my high beams - I have noticed that they need to be replaced every year, as the light seems to dim. Either that, or I'm getting cataracts in my old age...

Adjustment is very easy. Open the bonnet, look down on the headlights and you'll see two white hex adjustment sockets. Switch on the headlights, shine against a flat wall, and adjust a couple of turns.

Yep - most of the details on adjustment is the same MM. I have xenons and replaced both bulbs - the xenons were DS2 and the high beam was H7. The adjustment under the bonnet is the same.
