+1 they look sweet! Chap at work has put deep dish rims on a couple of his cars, look really nice. Can't wait to see what they look like on.

Unfortunately due to finances I have had to opt for an economy tyre... Having said that when my finances improve I am planning to upgrade to the falcon F452
Will post pics when they have been fitted

The cost of ownership is always how much you pay less how much you get for them when you sell them. This usually makes original wheels cheaper in the long run.

They'd be even better if they glowed in the dark.... 
That's very true, they'd look even better if they filled the arches properly. I think they look sweeet tho, & it's good to be different! Why does the wheel arch look so big? Is it just angle of photos and standard suspension as I assume they are 18's on standard profile rubber?

Agree with this and others you get what you pay for. Many 'e' bay sellers advertise as 'BMW' wheels byt they are just cheap reps. withg crap tyres. Get as good as you can afford. Remember the only contact between you, your vehicle and the road is through your wheels and tyes, buy cheap - expect cheap performance and reduced safety.

I'm not just saying that as someone who now has non BMW wheels fitted, I looked at various BMW solutions and just decided they were'nt for me, I don't care that if & when I decide to sell them on I might only get a few quid back as they will have served there purpose for me, after all is BMW (BBS) quality all its cracked up to be (how many 108 refurb threads are there on this forum)
I do agree with the statement regards cheap no grip tyres though.

However I do echo the sentiment about the car looking very high on them, I would definately think about lowering it.Agree with you richardG about bmw rims, the best thing i ever did was bin those shite 108 wheels, and yes if i get nothing back when i sell the car i am not bothered as i didnt buy my replica BBS LM's for an 'investment' opportunity.

108's paint failure is the nature of lacquer over polished alloy... any alloy wheel like that will fail, from super expensive BBS wheels on Porsches, to BBS 108's, to whatever else uses that system.
Fine if residual of wheels isn't important, but the car will be harder to sell, and be worth less, with non-oem wheels on... I'd still want to keep oem wheels to sell the car on with because resale will be made many times harder without them in my experience (I generally wouldn't look at a car with aftermarket/non-oem wheels on as it's a sign of other things being tampered with too, as well as the big issue of having to source originals, and then having to flog the ones on there etc etc)
BUT, I do like to think down the road to resale, since depreciation is often the sting in the tail of car ownership... so my view is biased towards leaving stuff standard
