Digital Mph on E85

Hi all,

I am thinking of getting a digital speedometer which will show mph on my E85 (2004). Is there a particular product/company you would suggest?

Alternatively, could one use Carly app to have such a function coded in?
 
Just use your phone and a GPS speed app instead of tw@tting about with the instrument cluster.

I think test would have to be faffed about with every time IGN off? I am pretty sure there is no way to code digital speedo.

Thanks for the response. Oh, I did not know there was a GPS speed app. I will check it out. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the response. Yes, you are right. It resets every time IGN is off. Tedious work!

Quite a few in the Play Store (android). Most get good ratings too :thumbsup: . I'd guess there are similar apps for apple.
 
Android Auto/Apple Carplay/Waze all provide a speed readout, while also bringing a host of other features like navigation, music playback (providing you have it connected to the cars audio system), fuel prices (Waze), etc....

I have a small magnetic mount just to the right of my steering wheel where I place the phone with Android Auto or Waze running for almost every journey I take. Very handy to have.

Thanks for the response. Yes, I just downloaded Waze and it has speedometer. I will check its accuracy later.
