Fingers crossed then as I’ll just sell it with an honest description if it’s got issues but let’s hope it’s just innocent under filled
The garage did say unless we got the amount wrong which did make me think they did not appreciate the amount it needed
I had my van oil changed two weeks ago it holds 7.5 litres the garage put 5 in and I drove off warning light straight on so went back, the garage saying the parts place only sent 5 litres basically blaming the parts supplier you could not make it up
Not necessarily, the cats combined with heavily baffled/wadded silencers seem to do a good job of hiding oil burning from the tail pipes, they usually appear heavily sooted with specks on the rear bumper as well. I’ve never seen clouds of blue smoke from one even when it’s known to be an oil burner :?
