Digging up old posts

Ive only looked around a little, but do people usually dig up old posts or start new ones?

Which would be better?
 
think it depends.. stuff like the howto's etc - well worth digging them up and continuing the chain.

repeatedly asked questions are usually worth digging up too.

digging up stuff from the lounge tho - probably leave that out ;)

As long as you don't pose a question to the person that made the last post, sometimes 5 years ago! They may not still be a member.
 
Now I feel old.

(and I'm a relative newbie compared to the late Noughties contingency).

Use the old thread mostly - as said by sk93 it keeps good threads current, even if they are years old. Unless the original creator takes the photos down and doesn't put them back up *cough* :D

Please leave the 'ratio' thread in the lounge alone too - it needs to stay buried :lol:

Thats what i was thinking, but i see lots of repeated questions with new ports and i wasnt sure.
