different tire size possible on MQP?

I’m new on the forum!
Top site and forum you have got here … such a complete load of useful information!

I have got a question about tires, my Z4 MQP is still on its original wheel with following tires:

225/45/18
255/40/18

My tire specialist told me he had fitted before the slightly wider below mentioned sizes on an M, anbody any experience or comments? Thanks a lot!!!

235/40/18
265/35/18

Will fit without problems, and have seen one listed with:
