I just used an Autoglym leather care conditioner on my leather seats/doors, but now, some of the areas where the leather were once very soft and more "nappa like" in appearance have become coarser. This can be seen in the circled area below - note softer bit on the seat on top right of the image:
Also, leather on drivers seat appears to be looser (althogh this could be general wear):
However, the drivers seat leather has become cracked slightly near the seams, as can be seen below:
All in all, they seem to be wearing faster than I think they should - the cars' two years old but they seem to have worn more in the last 2 months than they appeared to have done when I bought it, which is actually causing me stress!
For anyone with Z4 sports seats - do these look normal? Anything I can do beside the standard leather conditioner?
(Also, aside, is the leather on the gearbox real leather or faux as I conditioned this too and it doesn't seem to like it!)
