Different handbrake gaiter??

Hi I have changed my centre console and now my handbrake gaiter/armrest doesn't fit??? Are there 2 designs i.e onr for the armrest and one for just a gaiter

The one you wrapped isn't a z4 one I believe. Wrong checked it on eBay looks ok !

Had a look on eBay looks ok. Is it maybe face lift trim & gaiter is different ?

Thanks for replying, it just seems that all you can buy is the gaiter with the armrest! I will contact BMW tomorrow but wondered if anyone else had any knowledge of this.

My old e86 had a pad for your elbow on it,that's what's missing. To early in the morning :thumbsup

Hi, Yeah there's 2 different types of centre console (the silver one pic fitted without gator) is normally found on the 2ltr so comes with no arm rest. So far as I know, all the other ones are the same as your wrapped one, which allows you to fit the arm rest and gator.

I'd keep looking for one, from BMW they are about £250

The padded armrest/gaiter won't fit on the silver console. The end on the carbon wrapped one is different if you compare them.
