Some background. There was some confusion when doing my wheel alignment about what settings it should have. The hunter machine had two options - "e86 coupe" and "e86 coupe sport (lowerered ride height suspension)". They selected the sport option but could not get enough negative camber on the rear. When switching to standard the camber was slap bang where it should be. The place then called BMW who said I have sport suspension which is stiffer but not lower?? As a result the shop aligned the front to standard spec which meant reducing the camber on the front.
However this has been troubling me.
I went to BMW today and they confirm mine is a sport and has option 'S704A m sport suspension', ticked. We looked at available options and there were some not selected, notably...
S226A Sports suspension settings
S227A Sport susp + low-slung+ride-height ctrl
S705A msport suspension 2
Anyone able to clarify what the other options give you and what you make of my alignment woes!
